Well, my golden ticket finally turned up, so I’ve got myself a shiny new wordpress blog.

No idea what I’m going to use it for, though it’s (geeky) fun playing around with it. Main niggle so far is not being able to modify any of the supplied themes other than the main one, and only really being able to change the colours of that one.

I like wordpress, but I still can’t see moving my main blog away from using Movable Type unless I’m suddenly gifted with sufficient mad PHP skillz to be able to replicate the functionality of the various plugins that I use for that.

Seems like I’m not the only one to get a golden ticket last night either…
